OH hello!

Hey, i'm Josie! I have always been a keen photographer since goodness knows when and I decided it's about time I do something about it! My family and friends have always encouraged me with my photography, from using a point and shoot on 'nights out out' to my Grandads 85mm Canon Prime Lens, which I very much still use now. I have dragged my various Canon cameras through fields, festivals, the sea, most of which made it out the other side, some were not so lucky, but either way I am committed to the cause!

I'm 6 ft 2, so you literally cannot miss me in a crowd which very much comes in handy for controlling group shots and organising people. Im also a redhead, hence the name Gingers Creative which I set up in 2021.

I live near Dover with my husband, who is also an avid photographer and drone pilot, with the occasional visit from the family dog, Trevor.

When I am at weddings, I find the love absolutely infectious and a true honour to be involved in your special day. Although I am there in principle as a photographer, I can guarantee I end up doing so much more than that. Whether it's gathering bridesmaids, putting on toddlers lost shoes or making sure the groom doesn't see the bride, I am your woman!

I like to think I am professional and approachable in every walk of life and there is no job too big or too small that I wouldn't want to get involved with which is why I don't just do weddings but also family shoots, baby photography or other special occasions.

I am relatively new to this in a solo capacity, but have been working professionally alongside others for at least 5 years at this point. I have multiple weddings under my belt and very much feel comfortable behind the camera.

If you have any questions about what I can offer, packages, shoot ideas or just fancy a chat please don't hesitate to contact me!

WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO

Knowing first hand all the care and love and planning that goes into a wedding, to then get a chance to be involved with all the chaos and running around on the day, to sit at your computer and go through your images and just KNOW you have captured that moment, there is no greater feeling! Well perhaps there is, when the sentiments are echoed by the wedding party when they text you saying they are crying looking at the photos, that's pretty special too!

HOWEVER this doesn't have to be just weddings. Every day events, family meet ups, birthdays, babies you name it, moments should be preserved and celebrated. Not everyone has friends or family who always have their phone on hand to preserve these moments, or people are out the photo and that's where us 'togs come in!

Fancy a chat?
